Requirements June 1972 – February 1979

1. Make a drawing that shows how water moves in a cycle. Tell what water pollution is. Tell how it affects you.

2. Make a drawing that shows how oxygen moves in a cycle. Tell what air pollution is. Tell how it affects this cycle.

3. Explain how air, water, soil, minerals, plants, ans animals work together to make a glass of milk.

4. Take a walk around your neighborhood for 2 hours. Make a list of things you see that please you. Make another list of those you feel could be improved. Plan and carry out a project, approved by your patrol leader before you start. This project will help improve your neighborhood.

5. In addition to requirement 4 do one of the following:

a. Ragweed control
b. Litter prevention
c. Erosion control
d. Solid waste recycling
