Requirements January 2010 until January 2013

1. Be active in your troop and patrol for at least 4 months as a First Class Scout.
2. Show Scout spirit.
3. Earn six merit badges, including any four from the required list for Eagle.
4. While a First Class Scout, take part in a service projects totaling at least 6 hours of work. These projects must be approved by your Scoutmaster
5. While a First Class Scout, serve actively four months in one of of the following positions of responsibility (or carry out a Scoutmaster-assigned leadership project to help the troop): Boy Scout Troop: patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, senior patrol leader, Venture patrol leader, troop guide, Order of the Arrow troop representive, den chief, scribe, librarian, historian, quartermaster, bugler, junior assistant Scoutmaster, chaplain aid, instructor, troop Webmaster, or Leave No Trace trainer. Varsity Scout Team: Captian, cocaptain, program manager, squad leader, team secretary, Order of the Arrow troop representive, librarian, historian, quatermaster, chaplain aid, instructor, den chief, team Webmaster, or Leave No Trace trainer. Venturecrew/ship: President, vice president, secretary, treasurer, boatswain, boatswain's mate, yeoman, purser, storekeeper, crew/ship Webmaster, or Leave No Trace trainer.
6. Take part in a personal growth agreement conference.
7. Complete your board of review.
