MISSION

This site was created by scouting historians, collectors and alumni to showcase different areas of Scouting and it's unique history. Our goal is to provide meaningful information about how items have changed over time but also to gather and share memories of the experiences had by scouts throughout the years.

Whether you are a veteran Scouter, a past member, a collector, or just looking for more information, this site has something for you.

Ths SMP site is home to more than 50,000 images and growing. Our goal is to expand this online collection to include many more areas of Scouting memories and memorabilia.

The web pages of the Scouting Memories Project (SMP) provide access to descriptions and digital copies of photographs, memorabilia, oral and video recordings of Scouting events and activities.
